Cemetery Trees

 Had a visit to the Quaker cemetery in the town, and saw some very nice trees there. Plane and  Lime mostly, and a very nice Turkey Oak (I think)

 Just going over some older photos. Not been able to get out so much since being diagnosed with Myeloma. 

The Wild Trees by Richard Preston

 I tried to read this book but I did not get on with it. Too much talk about people's lives and not nearly enough about the trees.

The Hidden Life of Trees

 Finally got round to reading this interesting book, one everyone should read whether they love trees or not. Some amazing info in here. Did you know that trees communicate with and help each other grow, via a network of fungal mycelia? Scientists call it the Wood Wide Web. Fascinating.
