Looking up

While out on a walk with the family we entered a little patch of mixed woodland. I looked up through the greening branches at the blue sky.

Spring Larch trees

Spotted while out on a walk with the family. Lovely and warm today.

Birch at Hurworth

A magnificent Birch tree in a memorial garden, Hurworth.

Lovely old Willow

This lovely Crack Willow grows on farmland nearby, and I snapped a photo with my phone while out on a walk recently.

Epic oak tree

A large oak tree near the river Tees at Preston Park, Stockton on Tees summer 2017.

Grey Poplar plus offspring

In the field nearby there is this huge Poplar, and it is surrounded by countless young trees, which I believe arise from suckers rather than seeds. It is quite impressive!

Ash tree on a windy day

A lively young Ash tree (Fraxinus exelsior) being blown about.
