A Visit to the cemetery

Some more big trees at North Cemetery.
First a couple of conifers, a big Cypress and a Yew.

Then a very large cherry of some kind. Not seen such an old Cherry tree!

Then I spotted a large Whitebeam that had a large hole in the trunk. It was completely hollow inside, the wood there being just pulp.

Then  I saw the large Sweet Chestnut and waited till the kids were next to it to give a sense of scale.

Next a large Locust with strange knobbly growths on the trunk.

There were lots of Lime trees in flower, the smell was fantastic.

Finally a large variegated Sycamore.
